LOL politics in the rest of the world outside the US, Canada, Europe and China

Ive seen kosher places that sells “bacon cheeseburger” which has vegan cheese and lamb bacon. Never had it cause i dont keep kosher so why would i.

Lamb bacon is relatively common in recent years even in non kosher places because:

a) lots of rules regarding raising pigs for consumption so pork is relatively expensive
b) lots of people dont keep kosher but still dont eat pork (as its seen as the “worst” of the sins)

I mean i can guarantee that israel is more interesting for travel than Switzerland in every possible sense, but it will be disgustingly expensive in comparison to eastern europe

Netanyahu agreed to Ben Gvir’s demand to form a national guard under his command. He is such a fascist that the other fascists refused to sit with him until this election cycle

Israel deserves to go through this, quintessential “leopards eating my face” situation.

Never been, so I’m not saying you’re wrong. But top 5 seems pretty high. What are the other four on your list?

Youngs don’t vote

it’s more of a function of how small it is so you literally never have to eat something that isn’t great. Not saying you don’t have amazing food in NY/LA/SF, but if you’re traveling the states you will eat shitty food a lot. Same for London vs UK. Even in Spain for example.

So even if you’re outside Gush Dan or Greater Jerusalem, there is still good food everywhere?

So the last remaining democracy(Niger) in the Sahel is now under control of the military. I have no idea how Africa will ever reach a normal state where there isnt a coup every year. I wouldnt even know where to begin with. Everything is totally fucked up there.

Niger was a democracy? News to me.

The article made it seem that way. Apparently only the current president got into power smoothly after being elected after years of coups.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on Sunday issued a stark warning against the military junta and gave it one week to release and reinstate Bazoum, warning they did not rule out the “use of force” if their demands were not met.

At the same time, Burkina Faso and Mali said in a joint statement that any military intervention against Niger would be considered war on them, after other West African leaders imposed financial and travel penalties against the coup plotters.

Just insanity at work here.

Russia is trying to wage proxy wars by overthrowing democracies for juntas and religious rule in Africa against the West, it’s not good.

How did Russia put this together?

Like I have no idea what Russia does in Africa. So I am genuinely curious.

Make it known they will support and prop up coup attempts against democratic states. Basically they fund these guys and try to protect them through Wagner

This part of Africa is very unstable. There is rampant Islamic extremism, not very long lasting democracies, reliance on Western aid, etc.

They (Western Africa countries) have a group that is dedicated to keeping democracy, but it’s been falling apart as 3 different countries have had coups all at once.

That’s as outrageous as when the Blue Jays won the World Series

Have any other Australians heard this Ralph Babet guy talk? He’s a UAP senator, anti-vaxer New World Order conspiracy type. I hopped in my car the other day and NewsRadio came on and they were broadcasting Parliament. This dude was talking about that issue that’s going on with sexual content in books. My face started getting covered with spittle through the radio. Real lunatic energy from this dude.

From the content described I think some of the stuff out there is not age-appropriate, but there’s worse on the internet and at the end of the day they’re fucking books. I’m always a bit suspicious of people who get super worked up about stuff like this, Bill Cosby vibes.

“I remember the first death I recorded,” said Maloba, recounting the afternoon of June 15. “It was a 2-year-old who had been shot several times in the abdomen.”

Combine these articles with the articles about the 2 year anniversary of the return of the Taliban and their cut backs on women’s rights the rage I feel inside me is unbelievable. Maybe I should start my own wagner group and clean up. :rage:
