I once had a law firm add a fee per page of paper they used. The bill would be like X hours x $650 for the partner and Y hours X $475 for the associate plus 326 X $0.10 for the paper they used.
Yea I think I get billed additional fees per page of paper/copy/fax.

Lol, I was joking a little bit with my last post but seems my numbers are accurate.
I always liked on CSI when the team would stumble upon some bizarre crime scene, and one of them would ask, “Grissom, what do you think happened here?”
“Frankly, I have no idea.”
Could probably flip that to some yokel for $50.
Solid tip.
They’re mutually exclusive.
If you don’t know something try to find the answer to it. BTW you’re not allowed to not know everything.
Not for attorneys.
Honestly you should try to find another firm to work with if these guys are being that unresponsive. It’s not a good sign.
Please keep in mind, my fellow Americans, that each moment I spent on the yacht was torment! That is why I did not disclose it. It was not my idea of a vacation. Every second I spent on those magnificent islands, in those bucolic retreats, eating meals cooked by private chefs, I was seething internally, wishing I were in a Walmart parking lot.
“Is everything to your liking?” numerous solicitous waitstaff aboard the yacht asked, and I sighed, dropping my cigar butt into the provided ashtray with a heavy heart. “No,” I said. “This — ” here I indicated the blue sky, the balmy sea breeze — “is not my idea of a good time, for I am a man of the people, with the tastes of the people, and I wish I were pursuing amusement as they do, by driving to Walmart on the weekend to make memories.”

Most BigLaw firms don’t have part-time of counsel aside from fairly special situations and maybe these days paternity leave.
I saw this posted on Reddit and people noted it was drafted by a senior associate, not a partner.
Petri’s a national treasure.
