What would the backfire look like, Breyerâs corpse gets to continue being a Justice because Biden was mean to him?
Instead of deciding to retire in a year or two, Breyer decides to hold on until he dies because he refuses to be pushed out.
Sounds like Biden is going to extend the eviction moritorium, but only in the mostly red states hard hit by COVID surge. If you are in a high vax area less effected by the surge, sorry poors, bootstrap up and pay rent again.

Since evictions are handled by state and local courts and officers, why canât deplorable states just ignore the moratorium and resume evictions?
How fucking hard is it to just do it everywhere? What are we going to do, evict a fuckton of people in Mediocre Infection Rate County and then put an eviction moratorium in place a month from now when cases skyrocket? Jesus.

Like the whole premise of everyone saying they canât do it is a Kavanaugh opinion that said he probably would strike it down if the CDC tried to extend it without Congressional approval.
Ok, but you need to make him say it. You have the CDC extend it, someone will sue, and then tie it up in court. The Supreme Court will probably strike it down, but right now itâs the law of the land that the CDC can extend it. Itâs the absolute epitome of Democrats that they somehow canât get Trumps tax returns years after they plainly should have got them, but will instantaneously adjust policy at a Supreme Court justice insinuation without the justice ever actually having to put his money where is mouth is.

Biden calling on Andrew Cuomo to resign due to sexual harassment. Man that book by Cuomo aged terribly. So did people on Twitter low-key swooning over him during the early days of the pandemic.

Technocrats love, and I mean LOVE, means testing. They absolutely cream their pants at the thought of giving something to some people, but NOT all the people, so they can craft 140 page white papers on if they have calibrated the system exactly right or if they need more white papers. These people didnât go to Stanford and Yale to just give help to everybody without further analysis.
