Exactly it’s not that she gets more criticism than she should it’s that all the terrible male politicians get far less than they should.
Possible for sure. I’m no fan.
There’s always going to be some misogyny out there from someone but you can’t tell me that Pelosi, for example, was treated with this kind of disrespect from the party. She was a powerbroker, you couldn’t get rid of her. So misogyny seems like a pretty dubious explanation here.
I remember the backlash against Kerry in 2004 after he lost because he was a huge dork who nobody really liked, it was more vicious than the backlash against Clinton post-2016 imo.
The GOP has had plenty of straight white men who could never be prez, including Quail, Cheney, and Pence. It’s fine for the dems to have an unlikeable woman as VP, but they need to not be blind to her weakness as a potential candidate.
Not gonna fix, but notable that I never bothered to learn to spell his name. He’s Pence with less charisma.
Remember when not spelling “potato” correctly was enough of a scandal to send a politician into the ether? Quayle never recovered from that, I think they exiled him from the country.
You will be shocked, SHOCKED!, to find out that following numerous high profile gaffes as a politician Quayle landed on his feet as an investment banker at a predatory private equity firm that buys distressed assets for pennies on the dollar. We can only assume that he pulled himself up by his bootstraps.
Who in the middle, hochul?
Yup

Fair criticism. It was a joke in poor taste. I deleted it.
