yeah, I don’t think there is a single issue that a sane person could use to think that it would be better under Trump than any Democrat. Not any that someone on the left would be voting for anyway.

Which goes to show that this discussion is pointless imo. Voters aren’t making value judgments based on rational beliefs. They’re fucking morons living in the same propaganda environment we all recognize as really bad. You gotta win the propaganda war to win more voters. The position on the issues affects that I guess but Musk owning Twitter is a far bigger influence.

Trump is better at whitening up the USA, rolling back LGBTQ rights and environmental progress. That’s about it, but it’s enough for an awful lot of USAians.
You act like Trump voters aren’t horrible racists and reactionaries. They know what they want and they’re getting it.
Can you explain how you came to this conclusion? Because it’s kind of a ludicrous thing to say.
Another question:
Why do you think Trump voters believe in racist things? Do you think they are born that way, or do you think they live in an information environment that reinforces those racist beliefs? Because it’s obviously the latter, and that makes me super confused as to what you’re doing here?

That story is nuts. The alleged informants aren’t all just people in the back row. Feds are going after SPLC as revenge for calling the Trumpy groups like the tiki torch marchers hate groups. The allegation is that they paid informants and that that was deceptive to donors. Some of the alleged informants at the top of the KKK and Nazi groups.
They’re saying they defrauded their donors by paying informants in the KKK, because the charity was doing the racism ofc, the racism wasn’t real.
