I mean, you canât write âSwalwell is a woman abuserâ stories without some hard evidence, and when that evidence needs to be stories from victims and they donât want to go public, heâs a bit stuck.
I tend to blame the people who gave him endorsements and worked on his campaign etc, because you can just not do those things without potentially needing to defend your position in court.

But if he reported it, he would have lost all that inside access where they totally tell him and leak to him real true for real things and not whatever would result in whatever headline they wanted to see or test

I wonder why âcreditâ is in quotes and âembraceâ isnât.
Maybe she actually used the word âcreditâ but didnât actually say âembraceâ? Donât really feel like hunting her exact words down.
That is correct. She said credit, but the writer and headline writer thought embrace was better because they think it makes Omar look bad.
âEmbraceâ is also shorter than âput our arms aroundâ, which she actually did say.
She didnât say âput our arms around Greeneâ.
I think Mediaite is a generally left-leaning site (within the American context) that sees âembraceâ as a positive rather than negative term in this story.
