The amount of pettiness displayed by the wealthy to prevent the government from getting even one dime of their money is ridiculous.
Thats because many of them view their wealth as a scorecard, and their thin and vulnerable illusions of self worth are dependent on feeling like they are winners. They’re too emotional about it and will not recognize that the taxes lower everyone’s score.
