ATL is the busiest airport in the world by number of flights and it has ~2400 aircraft operations a day (that’s takeoffs AND landings).
at ATL at least these are spread over five runways and would have different flight paths during the day as well (e.g. every landing isn’t going to fly over the exact same path).

Yeah big airports can handle that. Anyway, I looked it up; EDI has ~130000 flights a year, that’s less than 400 a day.
