I’m not ready to assume that mail in/early/same day voters are going to have the same makeup as the general. Too much insanity has happened to scare people off of mail in.

pretty sure needle is on lower turnout than this so it’s gonna move a little too far from the last recent results it gets. Certainly live though.

Anyone know what needle started at before votes started coming in?
An issue with the needle is that it’s going to tell us early how dem turnout is, because it’s all early voting. So good so far. But if Republican turnout is good, that won’t show up until later and might swing the needle.

The odds of a split were higher on the books than in reality though I thought it might have been close enough to actually be possible, this high level of turnout makes it almost 0

Stonks futures surging. They know Dems are doomed. Not that 50/50 senate would pass any laws anyway.
Not hopeful in the slightest, but not going to doomscroll this all night.
