I could just the windmill part of this back in high school - pretty much my only move - and not anywhere close to as well.

I tried doing the windmill on my 40th bday, woke up massively bruised and sore. It took me a while to remember why.

One New Year’s Day I woke up, tried to sit up, and yelled in pain as my abs were brutally sore. Took me like 20 seconds to remember playing drunk Limbo the night before.

I had a similar experience only it was faceplanting on a BMX bike riding to get food after the bar. Went off a curb wrong and went over the handlebars and started walking home with my bike in the street. Friends brought it home. Woke up to my eye swollen shut and gravel embedded in my ear and didn’t remember until I went to rub my eyes. Just alcohol though not old age.

Mitch has been hunting horcruxes

What a disgusting creature. That ghoul is basically the most powerful person in the country, lol Amurica

He’s pupating. Perfectly natural for his species.

Can we take down the Borat banner?

I’m getting kinda annoyed seeing that not-that-funny hairy man in a banana hammock every time I switch threads

That was easy, thanks.

AFL Grand Final today (the Superb Owl of Straya). Been played every year since 1902 and this will be the first one ever outside of Melbourne. Melbourne was pozzed too hard by covid.

Was there an epic comeback in the Final in the recent past?

I remember being up late and catching it live half way through the match, but maybe it was just a regular match.

2018 was a pretty big comeback.

My AU sis has been to three GFs IIRC. She streamed one here at ~3am when on holiday (vacation) last time. Back in the day, when ESPN was just starting out, they showed a lot of ozzie rules. My sis and BIL drove 1200km (750 mi) on unsealed (unpaved) roads to Darwin, which was the closest place to them to watch the GF on tv… which was on live here, and everywhere in the US, on ESPN.

Wat. Where did they drive from?

Halls Creek, WA. My BIL did two years of “country service” there as a teacher.

Googles where that is

Holy crap, is that as isolated from anything as it looks?

I’ve never been. According to my sis, that was considered the “country”. It’s on a major road. The people out on the “stations” were way farther off the beaten path, and looked to Halls Creek as the “big city”.

But yeah, northern Western Australia has got to be close to the farthest away from a city you can get in the English speaking world.
