I follow 5 women.

OnlyFans completely screwed over the content providers, using the Bella Thorne scandal as an excuse.

Inexplicably, they do seem to fancy themselves as going mainstream at some point and they have an antagonistic relationship with the sex workers who made them a thing.

A lot of the issue comes for foesta/sesta. Onlyfans is forced to police sex workers or fear losing the site due to those draconian laws.

You are right though they are trying to go “legit” like so many sites and technologies that built themselves on sex workers labour and then shun them at the first sign of another user group.

I have read a few articles about this as well. I mean, hopefully it persists post covid. That’s got to be safer for the workers, right?

Wait, there’s porn on the internet?

Huh who knew? I wondered what the references to “onlyfans” were on those meetme profiles, guess that explains it.

Legit loled. Well played.

I’m always unsure to what extent this sort of thing matters, but NASA has just got some countries to sign on to its accords about future ‘exploration’ of the Moon, Mars etc. Which, unsurprisingly, opens them up to whoever squats and lets them extract resources for gain.

The relevant passage says:

The Signatories emphasize that the extraction and utilization of space resources, including any recovery from the surface or subsurface of the Moon, Mars, comets, or asteroids, should be executed in a manner that complies with the Outer Space Treaty and in support of safe and sustainable space activities. The Signatories affirm that the extraction of space resources does not inherently constitute national appropriation under Article II of the Outer Space Treaty, and that contracts and other legal instruments relating to space resources should be consistent with that Treaty.

Article II of that Outer Space Treaty says:

Outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means.

So the signatories position seems to be one can occupy, exploit and control access to territory, but, I dunno, it’s still somehow not appropriating it. Clever stuff.

They do have a section about what these non appropriated territories will be, they’ll be called ‘Safety Zones’, will be ‘temporary’ and they’ll tell the public what’s happening there ‘as soon as practicable and feasible, while taking into account appropriate protections for proprietary and export-controlled information.’ So that’s all fine, and I’m sure the Orwellian name is just an oversight.

Anyway, who knows how real any of this is, and I doubt we would ever have explored space any other way regardless. May as well have your ‘legal’ ducks in a row, I guess.

This is a silly take that misses the point completely.

I’ve got the weirdest burning/sensitive skin on my shoulder blade muscle and on my peck on the same side. Super weird. Nothing visible at all. Maybe i pulled a muscle golfing this weekend but doesn’t feel like that at all. Weird. Guess I’ll do a virtual doc appointment if it’s not better in a few days.

Who has more hate: Apple, for its customers, or Trump, for his supporters?

Classic symptoms of a through-and-through gunshot wound. You should get that looked at.
