Lots more to come out about that, I think, and in the light of the bombing in Manchester it’ll be awful, but we were there to facilitate Islamic extremists getting back into the country and fighting Gaddafi.

Yeah, I can see that being true, when we were ‘friendly’ with Gaddafi we would have been monitoring Libyan dissidents of whatever type, I imagine.
It’s truly awful but as someone who was invited to, and did, join a work WhatsApp group for people drinking after work it’s not so surprising to see a bunch of arseholes trying to outdo each other in the racism stakes.
It’ didn’t take long after joining for me to upset them enough to get removed from that WA group and to decide I didn’t want their company any more (which, pre the 2016 referendum, was actually quite normal).
