I agree. I think there are definitely Fox viewers that have decided Trump is a huge fucking piece of shit, but also feel like they “have” to vote for him to keep Kamala out, because she’s some clueless cackling moron (because they’ve only seen curated clips of her and silly AI created videos where she’s slurring her words etc.).
Just seeing her in an interview and realizing “oh she’s just a normal politician and not an idiot, huh” might be enough to make a handful of them feel better staying home as a protest against Trump. Getting people to switch is a tall order of course, but you take what you can get.
Full disclosure, what I wrote is not really my original thought. It’s basically an amalgamation of all the times Pete Buttigieg has had to answer the “why do you go on Fox news” question.
She’s doing great so far. Maybe she just likes the challenge. If she can get some viral moments, she’ll have incredible final run ads where all she has to do is post the clips like she did with the debate.
I thinks it’s a mistake. Fox news is right wing propaganda. Even if they have semi serious news anchors their entire raison d’etre is advancing the Republican party. They are to be avoided at all costs. Pete can troll them at times but I don’t think she could pull it off, and it’s different as a candidate.
Rogan is a shock jock who has both liberal and conservative views and has an audience that isn’t brain rotted from right wing propaganda. There’s value there and she should do it.
Even “decided” voters change their minds. It’s why polls shift. Fox viewers are often deep down the rabbit hole. Rogan listeners are likely magnitudes more open minded than fox junkies.
Does Ian Sams, Lyin’ Kamala’s Special Advisor, own FoxNews? He is on all the time, as are so many other of her supporters. So ridiculous that Fox allows this to happen right before the Election. We will WIN without Fox. MAGA2024!
