The most progressive city in the United States, Kansas City apparently, has free public transit, but a portion of water from publicly owned utilities being free is apparently impossible.
Conservatives talk about how things are nearly impossible and use the expression “serious people” as weapons. Sure, these things would be great “in your world”, but unicorns are nice too.

I know I’m in my own little bubble but Harris and Walz aren’t out there making news, translating those favorability numbers to polling leads. I hear Vance and Trump’s horrors every day. Get Harris on Hot Ones, have Walz go on Joe Rogan, have Harris make a claim that polls well but angers journalists so they cover it non stop, etc. Walz was crushing it.
