lol, they’re mad at Scandinavian-Americans and Mormons now? Because they aren’t white enough??
what a load of effin weirdos
This is how I feel about crypto bros. Real americans use whiskey as currency.
He should also lambast those that are sicussing Guard members as being less than the rest of the military. There are 100K voting members of the national guard. Pretty disgraceful that the reds VP nom sees thrm as lesser troops
Maybe someday we’ll have an election where the supposedly left party doesn’t feel the need to suck up to the military
Unless a situation is actually worth taking seriously, the less said the better is always the rule. Giving a long statement in response essentially validates the attack. You come up with a sharp response of one or two sentences to use on an as-needed basis, preferably one that segues directly into your own attack, and you don’t humor it beyond that.
come at the king u best not miss
I don’t think it will. They’re in the “throw shit at the wall to see what sticks” stage. He’s not making his military service the centerpiece of the campaign the way Kerry did. If I had to guess they are going to go hard on the “he let Minny burn to the ground” attack. No idea how much that will matter.
The Trump audio explicitly saying he did a good job in that circumstance really does seem like an effective counter to that aspect. I’d be a bit more concerned about it otherwise.
Kamala and Walz talking at a UAW hall in Detroit now since their NC and GA rallies had to be rescheduled
Walz is so comfortable in the union hall. Doesn’t even seem like he’s looking at the prompter.
Kamala is giving a different speech from her stump speech, more tailored to a union audience
Other than these 19k sq mile hills covering a quarter of the state, he’s absolutely right, not many hills in Nebraska.
Paywalled. Do they suggest that, having little money, he’s like a woman without children who has no stake in the country?
This might be the greatest tweet of all time.
Financial disclosures show Tim Walz barely has any assets to his name. No stocks, bonds, or even property to call his own. Together with his wife, Gwen, his net worth is $330,000, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal citing financial disclosures from 2019, the year after he became Minnesota governor.
Meanwhile, the gross annual income of Walz and his wife, Gwen, amounted to $166,719 before tax in 2022, according to their joint return filed that same year. Walz is even entitled to earn more than the $127,629 salary he receives as state governor, but he has elected not to receive the roughly $22,000 difference.
Bunch of paragraphs detailing how rich the other runners are (Harris 8m, Vance 10m Trump 4.8b), then ends with
Walz’s humble finances could appeal to lower-income voters in white working-class towns, but he’ll be competing for their vote with JD Vance. The senator hails from Ohio and captured the sense of hopelessness many feel there in his bestseller, Hillbilly Elegy .
