Going to stay consistent because I am a very principled person and say we’re still going to get our asses beat. But, at least it’ll be especially devastating after allowing myself to get my hopes up.
God damn even “It reminds me of the first day of school” is perfect. Everybody can relate to that hope of “Maybe this year is going to be awesome, I cant wait to see whos in all my classes and what my teachers are like, etc etc.”
Thats the WAAF energy this thread needs.
I mean, we’re all fucked due to climate change but it would be nice not to have to fear a nazi regime in the US prior to the heat death of the planet
Cool, they made the right choice. I’m actually looking forward to what Walz has to say, a first for me for a democratic nominee of any kind.
I mean…VP candidates generally don’t make this much of a positive difference, so I don’t expect this to create any wild state-level swings. But it’s exciting to have someone like this on the ticket and it’s very nice to deal with absolutely minimal Dem infighting about the choice today. This is usually one of the built-in bounces for a ticket during the course of the campaign, and choosing a generally non-divisive running mate should ensure that this bounce should happen per usual. And then the convention is here before we know it.
Bottom two look like they just ripped off the Hershey logo. Is this a ploy of Pennsylvania?
I can’t wait until Trump says she did an anti-Israel by snubbing Shapiro.
I’m definitely waiting for a couple of specific Jewish FB friends (I’m Jewish) to cry anti-semitism or anti-Israel because of the non-Shapiro pick.
