I honestly wouldnât have thought the Kelly tweet was conclusive of anything, but deleting it makes me think that the people interpreting it as him being out were probably correct. Kind of like when people lead with âI donât mean to be a dick, butâŚâ before saying something you might not have taken offense to without that lead-in. The implied apology reframes the whole thing.
EDIT: but now he just followed with this? What is this, Dwight fake-quitting in the Halloween episode of season 2 of The Office?

Yeah Shapiro has at least two scaramuccis of news cycles needing to be defended. Itâs not worth it.

I really enjoyed Walzâs interview on Ezra Kleinâs podcast last week. After hearing that, I want to vote for him and let him get stuff done that helps people.
You should listen to it if you want to get to know him better.
