Interesting,
Welcome back.
You think C is more valuable than U? C may be more common, but I think that vowel is more helpful than consonant.
Ok guys, don’t listen to the guy who literally played Scrabble with world class players, before and after they became world class (check out this fucking guy, I played him when he was 16 on yahoo literati lol, and admittedly, last time we played, he beat me like a red-headed stepchild. NASPA: Player Information: James Leong). Crack on.
Btw, U is a terrible letter. Only time you want a U is if you caught the Q, and even then, there are plenty of other options if you don’t have the U (QAT, QATAR, QINDAR, QI [not TWL98, Q was always a sealing letter in TWL98, after QI came along, only C and V were left as sealing letters], qu’est-ce que c’est), etc.
Are we talking about scrabble or wordle here?
I agree that U is not great in scrabble, but it seems like it is better than “terrible” in wordle.
Erm, I have yet to play this wordle game. Seems like all the rage, I should probably check it out.
Technically, the best second word would always be a function of what you hit on your opener, but you want something for the times you hit 5 bricks or something like one yellow vowel. In cases like that, I definitely want to get the U in there. But if you hit two vowels on your opener, C is going to be more valuable.
Apparently so.
according to 538, the winner for best first guess is TRACE
such bad strategy advice itt, had to pull out the finish
