Yeah, I put my kid in a charter school. It’s affiliated with the local college and he can graduate high school with like 60 credits. We have to drive him instead of bussing. I get the problems with them, but when confronted with the option, I can’t in good conscience not set him up to potentially get half his bachelors for free.
I don’t think anyone says you shouldn’t put your kid in the best school.
But if we have a pro education governer deciding the best place to put education funds, then charter schools probably not it.

My wife turned on Two Popes for a few minute on Netflix, and the beginning is like a much worse version of Conclave
I vote for the fat guy, we don’t want a guy who is gonna live a long time, I want a conclave every 4 years
So much this. Popes live far too long these days. We need to go back to the glory days of Catholicism when most of them kicked off after a few months.

Only gambling on the papal elections. You were still allowed to use the Draftkings app during mass if you wanted action on Korean baseball or what have you.
