My kid does not have unlimited screen time but did recently speed run through the Monk universe.
This is a good example of how Beetlejuice meme hits us terminally-online, but not hyper-terminally-online, olds.
I was wondering, are they just being off the wall and picking a random show, or is Monk becoming popular with the kids for some reason? Sounds like the latter.

Edited to add - I thought it was weird that she always had closed captioning on, but apparently that’s very common for kids now. Possible Monk watching is, too.
