We almost bought a house in 2019 with one of these, its basically a depression in the living area with steps down to it.
Sunken living rooms with bad shag carpet. Woo hoo. Lava lamp obligatory.

lol, when I was house shopping, I actually viewed a house with a tub that was halfway between this and the tub-less Grooving Area. We didn’t buy that house.

Always wanted a sunken bed since I first saw Help!
Obviously there are major problems with that design. Ankle breaking, debris accumulation, Paul annoying you with the organ playing, etc., but it looks damn cozy.

I prefer this one as it truly captures the feeling of drowning in work while the upper management management gives zero shits and acts appreciative of your efforts without actually doing anything to show you that you are a valied employee.
