We’re talking healthy/delicious drinks - not PEDs.
I’ve always been a big fan of all things ginger and finally bought a juicer and made my first fresh ginger drink. Holy crap it’s like adrenaline in a glass!
I’m a fan of juices and enjoy smoothies with frozen berries, banana, etc, but have been eating lower carbs, so V8 is currently the only juice in my fridge. I do appreciate a good smoothie energy rush on occasion.
I was doing spinach, celery and cucumber (small amounts of cucumber) for a little while about a year or two ago before my workouts when I went through a period where I thought that I needed more magnesium - which I really didn’t. You can definitely feel a rush an energy from some of those drinks but sometimes its just a sugar rush mixed in with a bit of an endorphin rush. I did that almost every day for like 2-3 weeks and then gave it up to just eating healthier.
The thing that I crave now, and what seems to make me feel noticeably better later that day and tomorrow and w/e is super high intensity cardio or weight training. I’m talking the type of workouts that make you “think” that your heart is about to explode. So far it hasn’t happened yet, but it was the only thing that really made a lasting change to my anxiety at the time. Doing 30 mins of target heartrate stuff just didn’t do anything for me other than a nice sweat.
