Joe Rogan

So it’s basically their version of the caravan travelling to the US border.

He meant 50k wheels not people. Easy mistake.

I should have done this sooner.

Man the thing is he’s going to keep getting more and more silo’ed until he’s getting all his info from right wing fever swamps

I like spotify but only listen to it like once a month. Yesterday I pulled the trigger on youtube premium and they were talking up their associated music site, and I think I have another streaming service through Amazon prime. While cancelling will be an inconvenience, its minor for me.

But the dog, now that was a revolution.

Love this line. Also love:

Doesn’t mean that much to me
to mean that much to you

Yeah funny how that works

in which jordan peterson is apparently a huge turnoff.

Soon Mustafa launched into a conversation about self-improvement, mentioning that he regularly listens to talks by Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, a person he “looks up to.” “I did not know who that person was,” Hibbah said. She assumed Peterson — a controversial figure known for his social commentary and his opposition to using gender-neutral pronouns — preached kindness. When she looked him up after the date, she found Peterson’s views to be “very political, kind of right-wing.” She told me it’s “a very particular point of view and line of thought that I do not subscribe to, and I was very surprised.”

During their discussion, Mustafa focused on Peterson’s book “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos” and how he has used it to improve himself. While she valued his sincerity, Hibbah didn’t have much to contribute. “I’m just more of a private person,” she said. Self-improvement “is not something I would share with someone on a first date.”

Spotify‘s customer service is currently completely overwhelmed because many of its subscribers now learned who Joe Rogan is and what he does.

Rogan looking to go down the Alex Jones pathway anyway. He’s loving this shit.

I doubt he wants to follow Jones if it means he’s also de-platformed. Would cost him millions, even if it makes him a martyr and more of a hero to the right.

After a certain amount of money is in the bank, the toxic masculinity personality types would rather be worshipped than make additional marginal money. What the fuck can Joe Rogan buy with an extra $1 or $10 or even $100 million that he will value more than having a cult following? If he fears being deplatformed, its not the money that drives that its the neediness and attention seeking.

Rogan is not getting deplatformed. He makes Spotify tens of millions of dollars a year.

But how much do they lose?

Not currently, I agree. But there is a line for him. Not quite sure what it is, but he can’t go and completely mimick Alex Jones.
