Joe Biden's VP pick --- Kamala Harris

Bass was a disaster at the Barr hearing.

Harris is reliably liberal and objectively more qualified than the rest of the pack, but she’s also a sassy black woman who will be hated by racist dipshit swing state types. Rice doesn’t come off as threatening, which is obviously unfair and infuriating, but electorally beneficial.

shhhh, don’t tell the tankies here that she has one of the most progressive voting records in the Senate, that doesn’t fit the narrative!

Bass would be the Tim Kaine of this election so I’m sure she’ll be the pick

“Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), a leading candidate to be Joe Biden’s running mate, repeatedly and openly defied U.S. Supreme Court orders to reduce overcrowding in California prisons while serving as the state’s attorney general, according to legal documents reviewed by the Prospect . Working in tandem with Gov. Jerry Brown, Harris and her legal team filed motions that were condemned by judges and legal experts as obstructionist, bad-faith, and nonsensical, at one point even suggesting that the Supreme Court lacked the jurisdiction to order a reduction in California’s prison population.”

And this is a fine line of attack. The conversation above was that the misogynistic lines like “she’s too ambitious” or not enough of a yes-woman are bullshit lines of attack.

I even said, argue against her on policy, not this stupid sexist crap. Here, I’ll even quote it for you:

My name is not PeteButtigieg8, it’s skydiver8. You don’t have to bring him up every time you see me post. Unlike some, I have moved on to helping flip my congressional seat, helping other down ballot candidates by phone banking and postcard writing, and occasionally posting anti-trump memes to troll deplorables on FB.

There is a fringe element of the Democratic Party that is very similar to the mega-insane wing of the GOP (albeit with good, not bad, ultimate policy goals). These people, represented well in this thread, will brand anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders a corrupt centrist loser. Which is fine, but it’s boring and repetitive and the end result is being tuned out by everyone else.

Keep thinking! You’ll get there, buddy!

Sure I am. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna go off about Dennis Kusinich in this thread for literally no reason whatsoever, though.

Unless Biden picks Marx as his VP I will not vote for him

The more evidence I see that she’d be a terrible nominee the more I worry that Biden will pick her.

I mean this is a good point.

“ The platform language stops well short of saying what those changes should be. But backers of the plank, which was added during deliberations earlier this week, said the broad statement represents a significant advance toward beginning a conversation among Democrats about how to respond to the substantial imprintthat President Trump and his conservative allies have made on the federal bench.”

Wow. Such progress. Significant advance toward beginning a conversation about how to respond. Thank you Mayo Pete, thank you.

You cant get this kind of insight just anywhere.

Did you know that Marx once did a thing? Fuck Marx, he’s a phony socialist.

I’m sorry, I don’t believe he is a natural-born citizen and is thus ineligible.

Typical American nationalism

That might be the most articulate and thought out post he has ever made. Could be longest too.

If the point was just having the best ideas, then fine. But if you’re trying to get those ideas implemented, rolling over for joe biden isn’t exactly impressive.
