This bean dad shit won’t matter at all here in a month. If Ken Jennings shows to be a good host here in a week, he gets the job and this will all be quickly forgotten. If he isn’t a good host he won’t get the job.

yeah this is a good tweet, because the tweet it’s quoting is wrong. Ken’s jokes that are screencapped there aren’t examples of casual islamaphobia, they’re jokes poking fun at casual islamaphobes. The tweet is correct, though, that Ken is probably better off not making these tweets.

I’ll just say this, there are approximately four xillion TV shows available to us in this modern world and this is literally the only one that my wife and two teenage kids will all watch with me. And this week we actually didn’t skip through the interviews. I think Alex had an underrated skill for making smalltalk here even though like 90% of the contestants are extreme cringe.
reading that bean dad story tweets made me more physically uncomfortable than just about anything i remember reading lately. that’s an extremely weird achievement. all i wanted to do was choke the dude with my bare hands while reading it. that’s like unintentional andy kaufman level
