Jeffrey Epstein and Associates

The day she was arrested a yacht owned by a Russian oligarch just happened to be spotted off the coast about 80 miles from where Maxwell was apprehended.

The yacht that showed up in Beverly this week is owned by Alexander Mashkevitch, a Russian businessman and Jewish philanthropist with close ties to political leaders in Kazakhstan. It’s not clear if Mashkevitch was on board the yacht when it anchored in Beverly Harbor, or if there is any connection to Maxwell’s arrest.

In 2010 Turkish police seized another one of his yachts on suspicion that it had been used to host a sex party with nine young women, including two underage girls, for Kazakh businessmen. Mashkevich was not charged or arrested in the 2010 incident

I would assume that Russian oligarch yachts are anchored off the coast of places where rich people live all over the world, no?

A yacht owned by the same guy who has been linked to underaged sex parties, arms dealing and the mossad?

Sure it was just a coincidence.

I’m not familiar with the individuals involved (I never got invited to the Epstein parties because I’m not rich and I’m not a pedophile).

Her attorneys are arguing she is no flight risk and was simply avoiding media attention looooool

Separately, take her fucking money. If the Bumblefuck, TX police can seize my cash without even arresting or charging me, which they apparently can, the god damn justice department can at lease freeze Karen McPedo’s money.

You’re in commercial banking and you know better than this lol. You KNOW that there’s aproximately 0 chance that the Justice Department knows where her money is. They know where 20M of it is. Woohoo. She’d LOVE for them to freeze that money and let her out on bond. We’ll never see her again lol.

Oh I’m not suggesting they take the money they know about and let her go. I’m suggesting they freeze the money they know about and deny bail.

Eh. Let her have her defense attorneys honestly. She’s trying to make a deal here not actually trying to beat the charges. If she tries to beat the charges she’s going to prison from now on. She’s going to get murdered anyway probably.

Is someone suggesting she not be allowed to have representation? Wouldn’t that be extraordinarily illegal?

I think the idea is that she should be allowed use her money to pay for expensive lawyers rather than povving it up with a public defender after her assets are seized. Which, I mean, fine I suppose, but it’d be nice if there was a chunk left over that the victims could get, dunno how likely that is to happen though.

I worry about this also. Also, hypothetically what happens if Ghislaine has videos of both Clinton and Trump, but corrupted feds only release/disclose the former? The Democratic party just blows up forever? Q becomes the prevailing zeitgeist for 30 years?

She might not be able to hire several specialty legal teams at the top of the game without money. Seriously she’s got expensive representation.

Thanks makes sense.

Oh no.

Plus I don’t want any legitimacy accidentally spilling on law enforcement seizing assets. She’s not sympathetic at all and I don’t imagine anyone (absolutely including me) would feel bad for her. She’s wildly atypical though, so I don’t want her to be converted into a pro forfeiture anecdote.

But this is exactly the scenario law enforcement dreams about (see if you can spot the difference). Someone with tons of money and absolutely no explanation for how they obtained it. She’s never had a job. Her dad was an insolvent felon when he “drowned.” I guarantee she never paid taxes on this income and Epstein never filed gift tax returns, so why the hell isn’t tax fraud one of the charges?

A more cynical person might be inclined to wonder why the whole damn investigation isn’t centered around following the money.

I had that wrong. After his death he was found to have stolen from the pension fund of his staff to prop us his failing newspaper business, money that had to be reimbursed by banks and UK taxpayers.

She did inherit an extreme lucrative network of elite friends and associates eager to attend her frivolous parties, and once boasted of giving George Clooney a blow job at one, which is how she came to meet and be useful to Epstein.
