Jeffrey Epstein and Associates

This but unironically, lol.

If BB is admitting that mistakes were made and it was gross incompetence, should he resign?

It’s my number 1 of all time.

I remember going to see dances with wolves a second time with friends and wanted to poke my eyes and ears out due to boredom. (I enjoyed it ok the first time).

I am a little more torn on HL V AVATAR. I think
Avatar was one of the most movie going experiences I ever had but rewatching it on tv or something just not my thing.

Nunn – you should start a thread where you give your opinions about movies you haven’t seen. We need that.

Would be better than your opinions about stuff you’ve seen.

You 2 should do a film podcast. Debating films that one watched and the other read reviews about. Sounds promising.

Avatar is one of the world movies of all time, in a thread for one of the worst humans of all time.

I have no interest in propping him up with my awesomeness in relation to making good content.

I love how 99% of msm articles never bother to even ask details like how he killed himself - or if they do and they don’t get an answer - they don’t bother to mention that fact in the article.

But I thought all the guards were working mega overtime!

I’ll say it until I die: the problem with the media isn’t incompetence, it’s FUCKING LAZINESS

Perhaps on a conscious level Epstein really experienced his drive to kill himself as an act of self-punishment based on remorse or at least knowledge of guilt. But regardless the effect of his death is clear–others who were involved in the child sex trafficking or other illegal operations can escape culpability through sheer force of denial. I’m sure this has been said elsewhere amid y’all talking about which movie this is most like or whatever TF (I said Batman Begins but I have a problem), but the lawyers’ involvement in the decision to remove Epstein from suicide watch is extremely suspicious (to say the least). So perhaps, deep down, Epstein didn’t feel anything like guilt or remorse or shame. He just, as my boi All-in Flynn suggested with that Psych Today link on humilitation, made himself a sacrifice for the sake of the survival of the group. His exposure would threaten them all, so he knew what he had to do, lest the same craven weakness to which he succumbed in raping those girls drive him to rat out his co-conspirators. This has been speculation on Epstein, TYVM.

Oh, and what was the deal with all the scientists hanging out with him?

ABC News on Monday afternoon observed federal agents, including FBI and Customs and Border Protection, at the dock and on the grounds of Little Saint James, Jeffrey Epstein’s island home in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Task force investigators with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York are looking for evidence of Epstein’s inner circle, sources told ABC News

The leaders of the House Judiciary Committee wrote to the Federal Bureau of Prisons on Monday, pushing for answers in the weekend death of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was being held in a New York jail on sex trafficking charges.

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), the committee’s chairman, and Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), the ranking member, sent a list of nearly two dozen questions to Hugh Hurwitz, the bureau’s acting director. They pressed for answers on the bureau’s suicide prevention program, conditions of the jail cell and Epstein’s confinement, and asked for the names of those who responsible for monitoring Epstein.

And the previous lawyers for Epstein have aquired criminal defence attorneys just in case a case of cases falls apon them.

I watched Dances with Wolves recently and still liked it.

But then again I am a huge great plains fan - anything with a lot of big outdoor scenery like that gets me going.

And the scene where he defiantly declares to his interrogators, after being beat to pulp, “My name is Dances with Wolves. I have nothing to say to you. You are not worth talking to.”

Fucking awesome. No middle ground. No both sides. America is evil. We are and have always been the baddies. Trump is just waving it in our faces so hard we can’t turn away.

The only thing in our favor is that we aren’t always the worst baddies around. That’s about all we can cling to.

Rachel has used the word ‘dead’ like 50 times in this story she’s doing on Epstein.

Have to say, assuming no conspiracy I have some grudging respect for Epstein. He was fucked, knew he was fucked, and killed himself.

In this age of Trump where so many people will upend a lifetime of professed beliefs for a bag of nickels or some TV time and push off any personal rekoning, Epstein at least had the balls to take care of his own business. The world would be a better place if more evil people killed themselves.
