It is unlikely that footage exists of Epsteinā€™s apparent suicide, sources said, because cameras are not directed at individual cells in the unit where he was being held.

Well, thatā€™s that, then. Itā€™s Pizzagate.*

*Itā€™s a joke, Clovis.

Wow, Iā€™m shocked man. Am I interpreting you correctly that you think Avatar was a better movie than Hurt Locker (Iā€™ve seen neither, but find it hard to believe this would be any kind of consensus)? Dances with Wolves was a good white savior movie with some real problems. I had a problem with the white guy saving the day and falling in love with the white woman raised by Native Americans. White people love that stuff though, so it shouldnā€™t surprise you. The Academy has a serious hate hard on for Scorsese, especially at that time, so that canā€™t really be a surprise.

What were you hoping would beat The Artist? That was absolutely my favorite picture that year, though the only other one I saw was Hugo. Both those movies were gut punches for me based on where I was at in my career at that time.

I thought Avatar was the better film, yes. Iā€™d have given a statue to The Decedents, The Help, Moneyball or especially Hugo over The Artist.

Obviously canā€™t answer about the others, but The Artist was a ā€˜realā€™ depiction of the challenges of Hollywood (La La Land was infuriating to people like me even though even that movie still got there as a film). Hugo was very melodramatic, and it connected with me for reasons that probably werenā€™t really Scorseseā€™s intent. If youā€™re making it a two movie race between Hugo and The Artist, The Artist beat Hugo by a lot for me.

You realize that the Native Americans die at the end?

Not going there with you.

lol

Crash WOAT Oscar winner, not close

Wow, Keeed how do even you manage to take me out of context there? You act like because I havenā€™t seen the movies that I havenā€™t read loads of words about them from people who have. Hereā€™s the part you somehow neglected to mention that was INSIDE the parentheses you quoted:

Yeah dude, I donā€™t know why you would take the time to incredulously say how could you like Avatar more than Hurt Locker when you HADNā€™T SEEN EITHER FILM. Itā€™s totally ridiculous.

I could see how YOU would like Avatar more than Hurt Locker without seeing either of them. How bout that?

What is happening itt.

I enjoyed Crash more than a lot of movies that are much higher esteemed now - like Magnolia or American Beauty.

Iā€™m kind of a sentimental sucker - the magic overcoat scene and the car rescue at the end got me tearing up some - which Iā€™ll always give a movie props for.

Avatar was also a white savior movie, if you think about it.
