This puts me squarely in creeper territory. It’s not good.
Being ignorant about something does not make that person a piece of shit.

I think most people go with this as kind of a default because they don’t know what to say and it’s a very difficult thing to talk about. And I’m sure some people do want to hear something along those lines depending on how close they are to you and how much they would be willing to share so I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing to say but yeah things like this are based on the individual a lot.
This is a really odd post. Are you saying people have claimed they know the best way to counsel people who have been victims of sexual assault? I skim a lot but I didn’t see anyone claim that.
Are you also saying that you are trained and know the best way to counsel people?
I might disagree with you on a lot of things on here and might post some dumb shit myself but I do appreciate your POV on these things, helps seeing things from a different angle
Come again? I’m not even sure what “side” you think I’m on here. If you think it’s the Clintons / eDems then LOL. None of my “faves” are on any lists. The victims who have come forward thus far have given us names of people who recruited and raped them. We also know enablers (Acosta, Wexner, et al.) who are directly involved. What I’m telling you is that this is really fucking simple: get those people right now. If others like Bill C were involved they will eventually be named or implicated. We don’t have to play sort by flight logs and harass Chrissy Teigen on Twitter.
You are the only one who is bringing up what side people are on.
I want everyone to be held accountable for whatever role they had. I don’t know why that is hard for you to say.
I really don’t understand what you are saying. I am being sincere and trying.
I think we should leave it up to the professionals with best practices of treating their patients.
I’m quoting the shit directly back to you.
Yeah well nobody did this. We objected to your statement that appeared to be you victim blaming.
Yes, I said let’s not pick sides. Let’s hold everyone accountable. This isn’t hard.
I never called her a POS, just fucked in the head. She’s a special blend of ignorant and overly confident in her views that annoys the shit out of me. Not sure what to call it.

Ok so this is talking about me, and you are unsurprisingly lying about the context. In the midst of a discussion about whether it’s ok to vilify billionaires like Bill Gates, you went off into a tangent about how actually poor people can get food through initiatives like the one you use/volunteer with where you take food that grocery stores throw away and distribute it to the poor. You also said in that same discussion that you don’t believe that poor people would be refused medical care because they can’t pay, and that they can just go into debt for the care.
I pointed out that it’s pretty fucking callous to come into a conversation about how the wealthy hoard wealth while the poor struggle for food and medicine and point out that actually, the poor can eat the reject groceries and take on a lifelong medical debt if they get sick.
So do you want to discuss that again? Or is there something I’m missing that makes it such a LOL that I am so for “the poors” while ALSO not thinking those people should have to rely on the food that the non poors deemed inedible or go into decades of debt if their appendix bursts? I’m all for a good LOL so please share.
Keep pushing back at the people who try to impose their very limited knowledge of the world onto you.
Some things posted itf by poor examples of the American left (some of whom are so money-grabbing they’ll almost certainly end up voting Republican in future) are just embarrassing.
You can feel however you want to about it. But as soon as you appear to be victim blaming, I’m going to call you out. Regardless of the fact that you are a woman.
And when you get more upset at people calling racists racists than at the actual racists, I’m going to keep calling you out for that too.
We are getting hung up on the word victim for some reason. Victim blaming means to assign some or all amount of the fault to the person who was assaulted. (i.e. - what did she expect wearing those tight clothes, etc.) It is wrong to do that.
It doesn’t mean the person who was assaulted has to feel bad and feel like a victim for their entire lives, or even for 5 minutes for that matter. Or that we should feel pity for them or that they have no agency for the rest of their lives.
None of this responds to the point that you bring these bootstrap strategies up as an argument that we shouldn’t be angry at the wealthy for hoarding wealth. I don’t have any problem with eating produce that isn’t perfect, and I certainly don’t have any problems with anyone else eating anything they want to. But the fact that the poor can sometimes get by based on the semi-illegal charity of others is not fucking relevant to the issue that was being discussed.
Like, you’re literally a garden variety Republican and I’m not sure if you see that or not.
