I doubt itās pointless. It moves the focus and the (media) narrative back from all the Ukraine nitty gritty details to: Trumps behavior is super obviously impeachable.
No doubt not a single question from the right goes towards the three democrat invited testifiers. They are terrified of the three that are out there.
Gaetz is dumb enough to ask a question. Heāll get wrecked of course but heāll do it.
Just speculating on how much money I would pay to see this. Not anything outrageous, but itās up there.
I wouldnāt be shocked if we see ratings soar for this week. This is good television. The previous witnesses provided damning but cold testimony. They deliberately shied away from declaring the president should be impeached, even when directly asked.
These are the witnesses given permission to lay into the president and anyone who participated in his crimes. This is the sort of stuff people want to hear. The sort of things impeachment advocates want to cheer and the sort of stuff impeachment opponents want to shout against.
I think this could be a W.
