Last month, a privacy researcher and former Google engineer, Felix Krause, alleged that one way Meta sought to recover its losses was by directing any link a user clicks in the app to open in-browser, where Krause reported that Meta was able to inject a code, alter the external websites, and track “anything you do on any website,” including tracking passwords, without user consent.

heh, I had just assumed this was happening already. when you go to share a link from facebook browser, it injects all this crap into the hyperlink that I always make sure to remove. That’s what made me suspicious.

tattoos is one interesting cultural change in the last 20 years. I dont have one but only because I can’t think of anything I’d want to get enough to do that.
I see visible tattoos all the time on people and I work in a very old-school corporate setting so I concluded almost no one cares anymore about that dumb norm.

I could see it being used in situations like structural engineering and construction where someone would want to get an inside look at designs, layouts, etc. before actually building.
