Also totally not true, I get fucking incensed when I order my McDonalds without mayo and they put goddamn mayo on it.
Always a grift. You can even buy whole wheat and gluten free sacramental bread.
Looking at the ingredients, it’s basically hardtack.
This is, of course, not remotely a fundamental or universal characteristic of Christianity.
What at McDs comes with Mayo?
You’re right. I apologize if that was offensive. Facebook idiots just put me on rage tilt.
Chicken sandwich.
Chicken sandwich without mayonnaise is like shine without sun.
I don’t make any fine distinctions between that and aioli and mac sauce or whatever. As far as I’m concerned it’s all mayo.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, Christians of any sexuality or gender harming LGBTQ folks piss me the fuck off, but while they’re many in number, they’re not necessarily the only take.
Fair. But the original comment was not about christians in general. It was about a senior person of a particular institution.
Again - what sandwich? You’re not calling Filet-o-Fish tartar sauce mayonnaise are you? Or do AUS McDs burgers come with mayo?
French fries in France
A McSpicy chicken burger comes with mayo and is served in Australia.
This is both factually and culturally wrong. The very act of being Christian is anti-LGBTQ+. It’s core to both the foundational text and nearly the entire cultural apparatus.
This apologetics is why religion gets such an undeserved pass allowing it to perpetuate harm.
Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable (Leviticus 18:22)
If a man lies with a man as one lies with woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads (Leviticus 20:13)
Bible says nothing about two women sleeping together, tho.
It’s either the word of god or not.
Anyway, I don’t argue religion online anymore. It’s utterly pointless.
We will have to agree to disagree.
Cheers.
God damn it takes an extra elite troll to get people who despise christianity to think about typing up a defense.
What defines a religion? Their holy book or what the believers practice? I have played this shell game many times before. “Oh, no. That’s not in the [holy book]” or “Oh, no. That’s not what believers actually do.”, whatever is more convenient.
That’s the problem with all religions though isn’t it? They are all just bullshit made up by charlatans or the deranged to try and get people to do what they want. While religion adds value to some people’s lives without negatively affecting those around them, it’s far too easy for religions to be coopted by assholes in order to spread hate. Wether the original texts were good or bad is about as relevant today as the science in Frankenstein. Not knowing how to properly cook pork is no reason to declare cloven hoofs Evil.
