No we’ve definitely got a few years on France, they were going apeshit with guillotines during the Washington administration.
Fitting that despite his death he is still able to do what he loved: deny democrats an opportunity to fill a seat

Why would they be lying about him being dead? What’s the motive here.
Keeping his seat warm so the Dems can’t have it. It will probably magically announce he’s dead 3-5 days after the deadline for a special election.

United kingdom? I think it’s hard to come up with a consistent definition that says UK was not a democracy because of limited suffrage while the US was despite slavery.
Has Beshear tried to talk to him or visit him or anything?
