Muslim immigrants caucusing for the Jewish candidate while some white dude questions their citizenship is an amazing tableau of where America is at in 2020. Like, that is some straight Norman Rockwell shit.

If some network prankster was feeding the on-air talent completely fabricated results from a random number generator it would look identical to this coverage.

Yeahhh somethings very fucky at this point.

And holy shit are these predictit swongs out of fucking control they cannot have a good algorithm with this right? Complete shitshow.

Nah - there are more precincts reporting first round than there are reporting both rounds. Pete is likely overperforming in the “reported both” precincts.

I feel like if Edward Hopper had ever decided to just take the piss out of Rockwell, that would be his ideal subject. He could do it so well.

Yeah, this. You can’t really directly compare those numbers.

they’re always out of control because it doesn’t take much volume and many people just click buttons based on what they just saw on TV or the results page they have.

This is a highly transparent process. They’re publishing the results every which way. I’ve seen photos of what feels like every high school gym in the entire state. The establishment is apparently ratfucking Bernie Sanders by rigging the election in such a way that their preferred candidate, Joe Biden, loses badly.

The actual vote numbers are much lower though, so there must be large precincts not reporting, right?

still not a single person in the first round has voted for deval patrick who has not dropped out right?

What % odds are we at right now for the entire caucus to be canceled?

Yeah but Bernie, for example, has 1900+ votes reported in the 33 first rounds vs 1300 in the 30 “both” - so the 3 precincts reporting round 1 but not round 2 have almost half as much support for Bernie as the other 30.

I wouldn’t read that much into it.

Liberalhawks?
