So all these redditors are buying and holding, knowing that they will lose money in the end, in order to force the hedge fund guys to have to keep buying at higher prices to cover their shorts? …And you are only supposed to sell and turn a profit if you have student loans to payoff?
But, what I don’t understand is, what happens if the hedge fund who short sold doesn’t have the money to cover?
More realistically a taxpayer funded bailout.
