This has been great but my one addendum on my Portugal love is at that time Cancelo/Felix were healthy and starting.

Boom!!!

Fuck

Hopefully Germany score again

Griezmann you pony-tailed wanker

Avoided England :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Deschamps is kinda a joke, but he gets a pass now b/c he won the World Cup. They werenā€™t great in the World Cup either, very mediocre in the group, but turned it on at the right times in the KO stage.

Once again, they had a very pedestrian group stage. They looked like potential world beaters once Deschamps took off the training wheels and put on Coman for Tolisso. Itā€™s frustrating, b/c you have an attack that is basically a cheat code, but Deschamps would rather play methodical and look for low scoring victories.

Itā€™s normal for sides to be cagier in the group stages and open up when they find their fluency in the knockouts.

Euro 2020 last-16 knockout fixtures

8pm: Italy vs Austria, Wembley

Sunday June 27

5pm: Netherlands vs Czech Republic, Budapest

8pm: Belgium vs Portugal, Seville

Monday June 28

5pm: Croatia vs Spain, Copenhagen

Tuesday June 29

So if England makes the finals, they will have played 6 of 7 matches at home?

Iā€™m just a neutral, but this seems like bullshit.

This is such a fantastic road to the semis for the Netherlands it feels like weā€™ve cheated somewhere, maybe the king threw his (considerable) weight around, he was seen lurking around in the stands. I mean Czech Republic into Wales/Denmark versus, for Belgium, Portugal into Italy/Austria.

for UKers to mentally prepare for those days when you have to endure ITV and adverts in every spot they can muster

BBC - Saturday & Tuesday
ITV - Sunday & Monday

edit: itā€™s the ads between the anthems and kick-off that really grind my gears :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Donā€™t worry, they wonā€™t trouble the final.

I canā€™t get the German national anthem out of my head but we changed the words and sangā€¦

ā€œArran transport, we have buses we will take you anywhere, but if you are misbehaving, we will give you the electric chairā€

Try it it works perfectly :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Wembley being the hame advantage is all good until they reach penalties

Good Luck :crossed_fingers:

Depending on the draws for the last 16 I honestly thought Germany and the Netherlands would struggle in this round but it looks like you both got it easy.

The Sweden-Poland game yesterday was such a sweat, it was the difference between drawing Portugal (if Poland won) or Czech Republic. Iā€™m not saying the Czech Republic team is bad, but Portugal has been a proper angst-gegner for the Netherlands for years.

I just sang it in ma heed - it fits perfectly.

Yeah, the Dutch and Portuguese team have had some good clashes for us neutrals in the last few years. Itā€™s always an exciting match up.

The thrills of the last 16 and who you would wish to avoid was fun last night, seeing what the commentators wanted etc.

The England team look to have the worst of it, Germany which I expect them to win in all honesty and then France? Is it, thatā€™s a tough next 2 rounds if I say so myself.
