pulisic doing the trump dance seems to be the bigger takeaway.

Not sure if this is real or not but its incredible

First comment/ explanation:
Not a fan, something happened to his jersey and they didn’t have a replacement so he borrowed a fan’s for the remainder of the game.

Am I the only one watching this abomination of a performance by USMNT? Looks like the plan is to just let Mexico attack for ~90 min and hope for the best. Barely any attempts to keep possession by USA.

they are basically doing what England did in the Euros, get an early goal and defend the lead for the next 85 minutes. It almost never works out.

.32 xG USA -.3 xG Mexico, seems like it’s working out so far. This Mexico attack is fairly toothless when it’s kept in front of them. The defending on the goal was heinous

England doing that is even dumber. They have/had really good attacking players.

LOL at no handball on that

Mexico is like the 1980s Flyers. Their game against Honduras was fun because Honduras plays like the 1970s Flyers.

That looked like a good goal. Yup.

looked on, arm doesnt count

US is clearly the inferior team here. They deserve to lose.

Is Mexico also playing a lot of their bench warmers like US?

7 minutes? lol, I’ve seen 10+ given for a lot less.

Yah I don’t know much but don’t we have like guys playing in the EPL and not the Milwaukee Breakers or whatever? I guess it doesn’t really matter who wins?

ā€œDo you have a picture of what not putting your hand on the ball looks like?ā€

Yes, yes I do.

That’s never handball, stop being biased. He won the ball through a tackle and falls and put his arm out so he doesn’t faceplant. No advantage gained, not intentional, not an unnatural position to make himself bigger either.

Lol he’s looking directly at the ball and awkwardly lunges toward it to control it in the box. I really can’t even think of a more obvious example of a handball.

Maybe, but that’s 100% a handball on the other end, and that’s not getting into the second goal that was called offside but overturned when an offside player screened a key defender

Dude, only Americans think it’s even remotely controversial. If a penalty was awarded it would be scandalous.
