Republicans are in full-blown “signal to the base” mode. And by base I mean mega-donors.
Look no further than all of them against the stimulus to please the mega-donors, then trying to trick their low-info constituents into thinking they voted for it.

Fuck it, I’m ranch poor. No ranch at all except a half a bottle of avocado ranch dressing. I don’t even like ranch dressing, but it’s the law in the Midwest that you have to have some.
