Unfortunately since the guy running the site is GOP operative Anton Lazarro, and he’s just been arrested for child sex trafficking, we may never know.

texas governors usually call themselves some euphemism for centist, like “compassionate conservative”. even as they are too far gone to the right on guns, abortion, election fucking, authoritarianism, pollution, corp corruption, and taxes. they are technically not the right fringe, but it’s a huge step backwards in every sense.
I was just thinking about Texas governors the other day. I’m still amazed that Ann Richards somehow won an election that state. Of course the only reason she won is that her opponent said some super-offensive thing about rape. But if a GOP candidate said the same thing verbatim today, he’s probably still coast to victory.
