I do. I think he’s screwed. The Rs don’t necessarily gaf. They don’t mind throwing people to the wolves occasionally. Especially if it lessens the heat elsewhere. Hell, they might even turn it into a plus by making him into a martyr if the opportunity presents itself.

I kinda do. His former associate flipped on him, IIRC the girl who was 17 is cooperating, they got a lot of evidence., and there isn’t a Republican DOJ obstructing everything.
Who knows though Garland has been LOL bad, but honestly I think they don’t want to enrage Trumps base by going after him. I’ve been saying since the election they wouldn’t go after Trump, I don’t think any DOJ would because thats not what the dems want. Sets a precedent that could be bad for them, plus would boost Republican turnout in the midterms by like 20% if Trump were indicted.
Not going after Trump sets a terrible precedent that there are no consequences and trying to overthrow democracy is a risk free, so my hope is they drop the hammer after the midterms, but thats like 5% chance at best. Most likely dems are thinking that was a once in a lifetime thing, similar to how many countries Ghengis Khan invaded thought it was a one time thing, and then were surprised as hell when rounds 2 & 3 kicked their asses even worse.
