I mean this is true, but sometimes people will get high on their own supply and bite the hand that feeds them, but this all just a publicity stunt to keep Abbot in the running for President. The people are getting deported in either case and they have to ‘voluntarily’ sign up to face their deportation in Washington DC vs Texas. It’s going to be like 10 people.

They really love cheap immigrant labor but they also want it to be illegal. Their ideal scenario is having a bunch of tenuously employed, poor, technically illegal workers that are easily bullied. They’re not actually trying to get rid of immigrants, they just want draconian punishments that they can wield cruelly.
agree that ellis was a coked up twerp (who also looked too much like hans gruber for my tastes i.e. it was potentially confusing), and also agree that alan rickman had the far superior die hard beard, but could you talk a little about why the ellis beard in particular makes you recoil?
