Obviously, I don’t believe all the right wing argle-bargle about his attire, but am I weird for thinking that it’s odd that he wasn’t wearing a suit? I don’t care, but it does seem strange. Maybe there is some reason that I’m just not getting.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I don’t think I’ve seen him in a suit since the war started. I assume he wants to express solidarity with those doing the actual fighting. Maybe wearing a suit would distance himself both from the fighters as well as the civilians who are suffering.

I guess I can kind of see that. On the other hand, I don’t think the rank and file would think less of him if he suits up when the circumstances warrant it.
