Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper had a worthless theme for season 1 but was a very funny show. Then they upgraded significantly to a cover of Soul Man for the season 2 theme, but the show fell apart.
Anyway, this feels a little outside the spirit of the thread because it’s not original for the show, but it does feel like it was an iconic and fitting opening for the show either way.
That’s okay with me. Sometimes a song wasn’t iconic until it was paired with a TV show.

I mean they felt a need to replace it, I can’t have been alone in my sentiments.
