Had no idea that GG was a cover.

My favorite part about the Andrew Gold video is the drummer looking like he’s a second away from rocking out on such a gentle song.

Personally, I’m much more forgiving of a cover being used for a theme than just lifting an existing recording, as long as that cover is novel to the show.

  • Dragnet shouldn’t have won the first match, but it is good and I’m voting for it here.
  • MacGyver theme sucks and only won because Quantum Leap was somehow worse. Easy vote.
  • Friends theme is catchy. Close call, but I’m going that way.
  • Last anime theme standing should be the first to deliver a loss to a sports theme.
  • A-Team is fine, but Andy Griffith is on another level.
  • Sopranos is good, Jeffersons is better.
  • I like Airwolf and was surprised it got a win. It shouldn’t really get a second.
  • Benny Hill theme is too much fun.
