Same here on the fried rice. As long as those egg bits aren’t too big.
Pho Tower (formerly iPho Tower) they’re like $7 and on Thursdays are buy one, get another half off. That said, they’re on the small side and aren’t the absolute best I’ve ever had but goddamn, they’re passable.
Edit: Best I’ve had here is way the F down on 148th and Metcalf at Pho Sai Gon. Cheap and big and good.
And then there were four…
Unlike the round before, only one close battle in the last round. It’s interesting to see banh mi trounce, but then lose handily to French dip. Some interesting analysis could be done on this that I’m too buzzed to articulate right now.
Once again I have no idea what you hoi polloi will choose. Good luck all!
Pulled pork
Breakfast sandwich (bacon, sausage, ham, liverwurst, whatever floats your boat)
- Pulled pork
- Breakfast sandwich
Wut
No
As said, lots of folk like any random beef/bread (cheese) combo. Banh Mi is elite.
No matter your favorite:

Timmy digging deep for those nuggets. Best to listen.
if all “breakfast sandwiches” are lumped together than all “beef on bread” sandwiches should be lumped together. Suzzer should never be in charge of anything like this ever again, this whole thread is a traveshmockery
Yeah there’s a wide variety of quality when it comes to breakfast sandwiches and they should definitely be separated. But too late now.
As someone who eats Cuban pulled pork tortas for breakfast, I have found this tourney to be incredibly confusing.
I think someone likes breakfast. While “breakfast sandwich” could be literally anything: bacon/egg/cheese, ham, sausage, toast, bagel, biscuit, English muffin, etc, none of them have a name, at least not a non-branded one. It’d be pretty silly to individually list every combination here. A Monte Christo can be considered a breakfast sandwich, bagel and lox can be considered a breakfast sandwich. Both in here.
Other than the Montreal smoked meat and the Jewish deli pastrami, there’s not a lot of overlap on the beef front.
If you ask someone if they like breakfast sandwiches, I’m going to bet most folks have an immediate image in their head. If you ask them if they like “beef on bread” sandwiches, they’re going to ask what you mean.
yeah exactly. look at that diversity. how can you lump a lox bagel and a BEC biscuit into the same entry???
suzzer is an anti-breakfastite, they all look the same to him
Those are all some good lookin breakfast sandwiches.
And a bagel with lox was its own entry.
