No “It’s the same sandwich!” battles on this one?
Of course my two favorites in the whole round have to be against each other. I had to give gyro the nod because I’ve had maybe 5 Italian beefs in my life and hundreds of gyros. So Italian beef is still a bit of a mystery box for me.

I just voted but I’ll be honest I’ve never even smelled 90% of these sandwiches
BLT vs Brisket should be the final imo.
I haven’t chosen - tough one.
Reuben and French Dip both overrated iyam. A good Brisket sandwich would choke them both to tapout in the first minute of the fight.

I know the mortadella sandwich isn’t taking this tournament down (and shouldn’t) and it looks like it’s not even getting into the Savory Sixteen. But it is a really great sandwich—for me the undisputed king of the pig + cheese bombs—and it’s so easy to make. So if above helps bring it into anyone’s lives then that’s cool
