Reading that chapter of his resignation novel, the sin of omission idea seems to be what heâs getting at. Which seems to be typical Greenwaldian thin-skinned, narcissistic overreaction. He does have a point that The Intercept never owned up to its mistakes on the Winner fiasco, and that allowed people like you guys who already hate Greenwald to use the Winner thing as a dumb gotcha against Greenwald.
Fwiw I never did that. It was a black mark on the outlet for sure though.

I just read Greenwaldâs piece on the Hunter scandal.
He repeatedly refers to Bobulinski as âBubolinskiâ so thatâs fun, really on top of the details of this story. Aside from that itâs typical Glenn, ponderous, repetitive, boring and containing a dazzling array of false equivalencies. He repeats this idea that one shouldnât care who the source of documents is, using Trumpâs tax returns as an example, like that is in any way comparable to what is going on here.

lol Greenwald just published the email correspondence with The Interceptâs editors and itâs a Sam Harris level self-own. The editor is incredibly lucid about what the problems are with the story and how Greenwald is running with it and Greenwald just throws a tantrum.
Like thatâs a really A+ explanation of why most media outlets are skeptical of the story.

GG is an amazing douchenozzle that is in a bubble of a bubble. Meaning he himself lives in a liberal bubble and thus thinks the liberal bubbleâs perceived hypocrisy is the most pressing issue of our times.
So he is happy to work with Fox News, the NY Post, etc. to âright this wrongâ even though his criticism of the âleft wing mediaâ would apply 100 fold to them, they were the instigators in marching us into the Iraq War, they are currently actively destroying our planet through their lies, etc., etc.

If pressed as to why his criticisms of his liberal colleagues donât apply to Fox News 100x, he would say of course they do, âbut everybody knows that so no point in me addressing that!â
But of course, not everybody does knows that, 70mm+ people plus are voting Trump for FFS!!! Just the people in HIS liberal bubble know that. Tucker isnât on for 20 more minutes, will monitor and keep thread appraised of any Greenwald appearances. Iâm sure dad found this out from Fox, I got him watching Krystal and Saager as a better non establishment alternative to fox but this broke after their show today.
