I normally toss this census trash in the same bin I toss that jury trash. They have my address if they want to come arrest me. But this 10yr is different. They’ve suspended the madness for the time being, but it’ll start up again soon enough.
I’m not going to make some poor soul come up to our home in the midst of a pandemic. I’ll trivially bend principles on the side of safety and decency. I’ve already 100% complied.
Which reminds me… 10 years ago over on 2+2, the ACers were all ready to shoot census workers for their ‘statist-ism-ness’, and the affront of stepping on (their parents) porches. The ACers… gone, but still hilarious ass-clowns to remember. Where are you borodog ???/?

Yeah, and it’s not police unions that are the problem. If the police unions or police chiefs or any group of police say some politician is recklessly endangering the public with their lack of support for the police, there’s a HUGE number of people/voters who will take their side. Do not accept your safety and then question the manner in which these brave people give it to you, you ingrates!

It’s civil disobedience of the easiest kind, as the silly laws regarding jury and census are not enforced. In AU/etc, I’d add voting to the list.
