dislike button dislike button dislike button!
or a rating system where you score out of ten!
Code changes for a dislike button would be a huge undertaking and probably beyond what any of the people working on the site would be willing/capable of. However, there a plugin for tagging other peopleâs posts with emoji:
This is an example of what a tagged post looks like.
Personally I think this would be a terrible idea that I wouldnât want to see on the forum, but if enough of you lobby hard for it we can implement it.
It would be fun when used sparingly but weâre not a sparing usage group.
Did you just assume this personâs gender?
Is it possible to put a reply button on the fullscreen composer? It seems silly to open the fullscreen composer to type my hot take, then have to exit the fullscreen in order to click reply.
This is obviously a trivial complaint.
Is there any reason the avatars got really big and started covering the text?
This change must have been within the last 5 minutes or so.
Avatars need to be way bigger, and if it comes at the expense of text, so be it
Absolutely not. Thereâs too much white space in one line posts as is.
It was multiple admins trying to fix the same problems at the same time and inadvertently undoing each otherâs work.
I feel like management is not appropriately addressing my concerns here.
If you like detective movies from Hollywoodâs golden age, you will like the Thin Man cinematic universe. That is some classic shit.
My only knowledge of water polo comes from Star Trek Enterprise. If it had had a longer run, Archer might have convinced me itâs a real sport.
Set up a bot account that posts every time there is a mass shooting. Maybe limit it to 5 or more shot.
We can only ignore someone for 4 months? Can we have a forever option?
Not presently. The ignore feature is fairly new to the software and I expect there will be changes in the future, but we are at the mercy of the developersâ schedules and whims.
When someone replies to a post, is there (or can there be) a way to click and see the post theyâre replying to? Sometimes people reply to something far up the thread without quoting it and itâs a pain to look for it.
Yes - on desktop you can click the arrow and the quoted post will appear above the quote-containing post
On mobile you can click the arrow and it will take you to the post itself
You reply to post and hit quote button on toolbar. Stumbled across this today.
