She’s a tolerable candidate if she means everything Sandersesque that she says, and nothing let’s say Romneyesque that she says. It’s just that I don’t believe that’s the case.

I like the idea of forcing every billionaire who makes it to 1 billion to retire at that point. No more investments. Once you spend your billion down 10 or 20 million (or some other number) you can try again. Isn’t that really the kind of games the people who are billionaires like to play anyway to show how awesome they are? There are billionaires in their 80s who are still raiding companies and ruining people’s lives for…reasonz? This should not be able to happen.

Cuban has also been going after warrens plans pretty hard on twitter over the past week or so, but he’s doing it in that annoying joe rogan, “I just want to know how it works, I’m just asking questions because it doesn’t make any sense to me,” style. So if you’re interested in watching a billionaire make a fool of himself, I’d head that way.

Cap wealth at $1 Billion and everything above that goes to taxes. I bet you’d see tons of millionaires that would keep going rather than retiring and not giving a fuck after a couple hundred million.
If nothing else, it would shut up every smirking asshole who says “Money’s just a way of keeping score.” Like, OK, have you tried just keeping a written record of the money and then giving it away? Seems like it would achieve the same goal… no? That wouldn’t work?
I find that cliche especially nauseating, because when you drill down, what they’re actually saying is that money - not just its acquisition, but its permanent retention - is the single most important thing in the world to them, no exceptions - but they’re phrasing and delivering it in a way that’s meant to imply the opposite.
